About Donations
Make Room, Inc. is a nonprofit organization recognized as tax-exempt under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. Donations made to support our mission are voluntary charitable contributions that help us serve children and families in our community.
Donation Processing
Online donations may be processed through trusted third-party platforms such as Zeffy. Donations made through those platforms may also be subject to the provider’s terms, privacy policy, and processing procedures.
Recurring Donations
If recurring donations are offered, donors may modify or cancel recurring contributions through the donation platform when available or by contacting us for assistance.
Refund Requests
We are grateful for every contribution. Donation refund requests are reviewed on a case-by-case basis. If you believe an error has been made, please contact us promptly.
Tax Receipts
Donation receipts may be provided by Make Room, Inc. and/or the third-party donation processor, as applicable. Donors should retain receipts for their records. Donations may be tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law. Please consult a tax advisor regarding your individual circumstances.
Use of Funds
Unless specifically restricted by the donor and accepted by Make Room, donations may be used where most needed to support our charitable mission and operations.
